Cat, Just a note to say it was good talking to you tonight. It really brought back some great memories. I took a few moments to skim your biography and feature articles. AWESOME! So proud you have found yourself in such a creative and rewarding new lifestyle. Best of luck to you and I hope to catch one of your performances soon. Please promise you won't laugh at my yearbook picture. Again, it truly was good to talk with you. Hope to catch you soon. Again, best of luck always. |

Enjoyed your performance so much at Lyons Public Library. Hope you can come to Summit Public Library soon so all my friends can hear you and sing along. |

I attended your concert at the Lyons Public Library last night and thoroughly enjoyed myself. You have a fine voice and are quite accomplished on the guitar. Your list of songs was a nice selection...although I was hoping to hear either Ol' Man River or Summertime (not a criticism here just they are two songs I really like). I also thought that your introductions to the songs was nicely done. Enjoyed our conversation after the concert. Sincerly, David Scholes. |

Dear Cat, My name is Todd Gregory Ballard and I just wanted to say that your music touches my heart. YOu sang at our schoool today. Lewis and Clark Elementary school. Cat I think that it was nice that you made a song just for your grandmother. THe tune and words and the meaning really touched my heart. Here is a poem that I wrote. If you would like to make a song out of it, that would be an honor. As each day goes by the circle of life is movieng. The air is like a strong fan blowing great feelings. My heart pumps with the beat of my heart. The ground, a wonderous place, wich leads to mysterious places. The nature of life is like a a human, the wind blows as your heart pumps, your feet move with the groove of the grass and dirt, and as all of it comes together ot forms the great circle of life. A circle that spins constantly for your pleasure of life. When water rushes by I think of my blood going through my body. As all of this comes together, it forms the great circle of life. It forms God's wonderful creations. The great circle always moving and moving on hope. As it all comes together it forms the great circle of life. Cat i hope this poem touches your heart. |

Cat: I was the performer unfortunate enough to have to follow an attractive, engaging, and talented songwriter/poet on Saturday, February 2rd at Front Porch Music in Valpariso. Seldom have I been so torn between getting up to perform my music and relaxing and contemplating your words and chords. It's good to see good things happen to good people and I find it inspirational seeing you attain the attention your music deserves. Wishing you continued success and looking very much forward to next time circumstance places me in your company. Scott |

Cat, Very nice to have met you at Kathy's party. You have a good website, very clickable. Will snail-mail a check for a CD, and watch for performances we might be able to attend. At the very moment that you become an incredibly rich BIG STAR, please notify me IMMEDIATELY! (Please do the same if you win a big lottery prize) All serious-ness aside, you seem to have it all together to make a wonderful connection with the themes that play in most of our hearts and spirits. I have no doubt that you will be increasingly well-recieved in ever more important venues. |

Hi, Cat It was so nice of you to come to the CD party for Kathy Palmquist, my beautiful and talented daughter. It was a real special touch to have a successful performer there to give her support. I'll watch for some venues in my area and try to come out to see you again soon. Pat. |

Your influence helped!!! I read at Barnes and Noble last night, and it turned out a little other than what i would've liked, due to the fact that the crowd was small, and i was practically the only poet for the entire time. Usually, when i read my work,i just like to present it as is giving no intros or explanation as to what i'm trying to get across, because i like to give everyone a chance to get their own meaning out of my words. Well,it seemed that the crowd was a bit uninthusiastic, and not enjoying the reading. So remembering what you did at Newport in your gig, i decided to chance it and adlib a bit of monologue. It really paid off,i started getting responces, and by the end after i read all the work i brought, everyone seemed like they had a good time. So i guess i'd just like to say thanx, again, for what you did in your act.Especially, since it helped me later!!! DAS |
| 2000-06-06 16:39:02-07 David Sutton |
Cat-hello again!! I'm just e-mailing you to thank you so much for the show you did June 3,at Newport. I did not know what to expect, but it ended up being the most enjoyment i've had in a while.Your guitar and singing were excellant, but i also must strongly comment on the incredibly supportive monologue you did.I attended a few poetry workshops held by an acclaimed poet, and everything she spoke was mostly read, and uninteresting.Yet the talk you did between every song gave it spark, and kept my interest keen. I loved all your stories, and i have an aunt who lived in Franklin Park most likely around the time you did and before. I told her of you,and she said that it was very Italian back then. Anyway,i really enjoyed all,and i hope your talents reach the peak you want them to no matter how high!!!!!!!!!!!!!! David A. Sutton |

Enjoyed meeting and hearing you last night at the lake county folk club. The singer-songwriter is the poet of today, similiar to the role of the troubador in the middle ages. Great show opening for Hot Soup in Lombard on Saturday night. I enjoyed your music and especially your own songs. Your stage precense is strong, deliberate, and fun at the same time. My best. Keep following your dreams. Patrick P., TBA Entertainment Corporation |

Hi, Cat! I just went looking for your website, and found it with no problem. I've downloaded the MP3 songs to listen to while I work. Enjoyed reading the Press and Bio info about you. I don't expect to get the the Hot Soup girls Maple Street gig, but hope to see you again soon. |
